After building the basic frame for your backyard swing set then the fun part comes: accessorizing. Most hardwood swing set frames will allow for plenty of custom additions including 10' and 14' wave slides, spiral slides, glider swings, rock walls, monkey bars and many other exciting features. As your kids get older they'll want new challenges on their play sets and in time you can add a wide variety of accessories that will provide for hours of outdoor fun.

Wave slides are one of the first accessories most people will add to a backyard swing set. Available in 10' and 14' lengths these sturdy slides are safe for infants and toddler and big kids too. Rustproof and maintenance-free, wave slides are made from durable fade-resistant polyethylene and are designed to survive many common outdoor hazards including rain, cold and intense UV sunlight. Wave slides mount easily to side platforms and feature a simple and smooth one-piece construction.

For older kids the super tube spiral slide is a great swing set accessory that features an enclosed spiral slide made from smooth polyethylene for safe sliding fun. 180 degree tube slides are usually designed to mount on a 7-foot deck or platform and feature 3/16" thick walls as opposed to standard 1/16". The 24" diameter of the tube is spacious enough for big kids and durable enough to handle constant use.

Belt swings are the most common swing on a set but there are many other swing styles to choose from including tire swings, disc rope swings and glider swings.
